I want to personally recommend Mark Gershick at On the House Homes and Loans for his excellent service. Being a U.S. Veteran and Mark navigated me through all the special requirements to tackle a very difficult transaction. His knowledge and experience kept me from stressing out. That meant a lot to me! Now we are looking at homes to buy. The time we spent together has developed into a very nice friendship, and you should reach out to Mark with any real Estate or Mortgage questions.Robert G.

Overall, we had a great experience working with Mark. He helped us find out first house. During the search we looked at numerous properties and Mark was very knowledgeable about what to look out for and be mindful of. He would often point out potential issues that we did not even think about. Mark is also familiar with VA loans and the requirements a property needs to meet to be eligible. I would highly recommended Mark to anyone needing a realtor.

I was incharged of selling my parent’s home and I am glad I had Mark as my agent. His experience, knowledge and integrity meant everything to me. His years of experience really shined when things got complicated with the buyers, Mark was able to work things out like a real pro, and always felt like Mark was really on our side. Another thing I loved was that he was always available when I needed him, not another agent or an assistant! That was very important to me. I will definitely be working with him again!!

We recently had the opportunity to purchase a home with the assistance of Mark Gershick. It was an unforgettable experience! He was always available to show us several homes in the location we wanted to live. He was able to pre-qualify us quickly and negotiated for the lowest interest rate available. There was an issue with the home, and he said “Let me handle this for you”, and he did! He really worked hard on our behalf and his experience, integrity, and availability was priceless to us. We would not have this dream home without him! He is a great realtor and has become a trusted friend.

Mark was such a blessing to meet and work with and I highly recommend him for all your real estate needs. We had been searching to purchase our first home and had met a few real estate agents that never returned our calls. Some lacked the communication or expertise we felt we needed. Others did not show any genuine interest in wanting to help us find what we were looking for in our first home.Since the first day we met Mark, we had a great connection with him. We did not feel rushed, he made the process seamless despite the pandemic he was always there for us regardless of the time we called him. I work in the health care field and needed someone flexible with time. He demonstrated compassion, great communication, flexibility, caring and had the expertise as well as experience to help us along our journey to buying our first home. Mark always has a positive attitude and willingness to help. He has a selfless heart is very honest. My husband and I will always be grateful to Mark for everything he did for us and making our dream come true of becoming homeowners.

He was always available to answer any questions we had in a very timely fashion. We are forever grateful for Mark’s help in getting us into our first home. Loyalty

This custom presentation that I’ve shared with you is an example of the care and effort I put into each of my best clients. I recognize that real estate transactions are one of the largest financial transactions of your life and it deserves careful consideration and wise planning. In light of this, you should feel strongly that mutual respect and understanding are key components of hiring me to help you accomplish real results starting right away.

Reviewing each other’s roles and responsibilities as we embark on the next steps together is how we can decide if we are ready to move forward together.

Processes

1

Consultation

We’ll sit down together and help you determine your needs wants and goals while offering my personal industry expertise and strategies for bringing your vision to life.
Image

2

Pre-Approval

Getting pre-approved will help you know exactly what you can afford so you can confidently focus on the right homes. Plus, it shows sellers you’re serious, giving you an edge when making an offer.
Image

3

Property tours

After you have reviewed and selected which homes you want to tour, we get to go shopping! This is where you can start figuring out what you really want in your new home.
Image

4

Write offer

Once we find the home of your dreams, we'll submit an official offer - including but not limited to sale price, inspection contingencies, and closing costs. The seller then has time to accept, reject, or counter your offer.
Image

5

Under Contract or Escrow

With your offer accepted, we enter a 30-day Escrow period. This involves a neutral third party company that holds funds while conducting a thorough underwriting process to ensure all aspects of the contract are upheld properly
Image

6

Appraisal

The appraisal is ordered by your lender to protect their investment. They have their own checklist of things they look at for the final approval to move forward. The appraiser can demand repairs completed by the seller before they will give their approval.
Image

7

Inspections

Now that you've found your home we need to order the inspection. The inspection will let you know what repairs are needed, some are minor and some may be safety issues. Don't worry, you are still protected.
Image

8

Closing

Congratulations! You now own a home and can get moved in. It's time to celebrate and have your housewarming and show off your home. We will be standing by to answer any questions you may have about home-ownership and have a list of contractors if the need arises.
